Shrine Mont Parish Weekend:
Catch the Olympic Spirit!
June 1 – 3, 2012
St. John’s Church, McLean and St. Francis Church, Great Falls (the churches of Langley Parish) get together every year on the first weekend after Memorial Day for an all parish weekend at Shrine Mont.
Shrine Mont offers all of the benefits of a camping trip yet everyone can enjoy accommodations with electricity and private bathrooms and home style meals. There will be lots of activities for children, fun for singles, and games for the whole family. Activities include crafts, tennis, swimming, family softball, fishing, dancing, exploring, a bonfire, a costume contest, an ice cream social, a hayride and a parade led by the Shrine Mont Marching Band. The Talent Show on Saturday evening is always a highlight of the weekend. Other activities available include Bible study, golf and touring.
Registration is Sunday, April 22 through Monday, May 21. Registration forms can be picked up in Shears Hall or downloaded from the St. John’s website. Return forms with payment by May 21 Availability and room assignments are on a first come, first served basis, so please complete yours today! Your two night stay includes all meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch.
