St. John's Church supports regional and national outreach efforts through financial contributions to the Episcopal relief and Development Fund, the United Thank Offering, and other church related agencies.
Katrina Relief Mission Trip: April 19 – 25, 2009
Please join us in rebuilding storm-ravaged homes of the poor along the Mississippi Gulf Coast for some or all of April 19 – 25. Camp Coast Care has a backlog of nearly two years of work! You need not be a skilled construction worker - all able-bodied persons are welcome and will be trained. Minimum age is 16. If you don’t have a whole week available, come for a few days. The weather should be lovely in April, and Camp Coast Care provides a bunk bed and “three squares” for $25 a night There is ample opportunity for FUN!
