The Drive of the Month for April will support the Falls Church McLean Children’s Center. FCMLCC provides a comprehensive, high quality early childhood program designed to give all young children, regardless of their family’s economic resources, a strong foundation on which to build the rest of their lives.

It is a year-round day care center; 50 percent of the children enrolled are eligible for the Child Care Assistance Program and 44 percent of the children have parents who are first-generation immigrants.

St. John’s has supported FCMLCC for over 20 years. The Children’s Center has asked for collage craft supplies for the art program. Suggested items include:

• Stickers (animals, cars, princesses, unicorns, sports themes)
• Envelopes and stationery (these do not need to be new)
• Note pads
• Feathers
• Pom Poms
• Tissue Paper Squares (1inch x 1 inch)
• Post-it notes (all sizes and colors)
• Amazon gift cards (leave in the Parish Office)

Please bring donated items to Shears Hall and place on the credenza where the Drive of the Month bulletin board is located. New items may be mailed directly to:
