The Roseland String Quartet warmly invites you to its second benefit concert at St. John’s. This special evening is presented in support of the SHARE of McLean, which serves local families in need.
Admission is free, and all donations will directly benefit SHARE’s vital work in our community. All are invited to gather in the sanctuary beforehand for light refreshments beginning at 7:00 pm.
The program will feature classical works by Giacomo Puccini, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Bedřich Smetana.
The organ in St. John's Church was renovated and expanded as part of a major building project in 2000. Work was done by Michael Hart and Bard Wickkiser and the staff of the Di Gennaro-Hart Organ Company of Washington, D.C. Learn more.
The Music Fund supports expenses outside St. John’s yearly music budget: hiring additional instrumentalists and singers for worship, sponsoring concerts, purchasing miscellaneous items such as music stands and choir folders, and seeding initiatives such as our new Second Sunday Evensong. You can donate either online or by check payable to St. John’s Church with “Music Fund” on the memo line. Thank you for your support of the Music Fund.
